4-VA collaborative research call for proposals

Virginia Tech faculty are invited to apply for 4-VA collaborative research grants, offering $5,000-$30,000 to support pilot research projects. Priority is given to first-time 4-VA applicants. Proposals should align with key research areas like AI, health, security, and quantum technologies, and must involve collaboration with at least one 4-VA partner institution.

Funds will be released to awardees' departments in July and are expected to be spent by the end of the fiscal year (~June 2026).  Submit proposals using the proposal template and the online submission form. Proposals are due by March 31.
