The Virginia Tech Police Department has recently received reports of three thefts from gym locker rooms on the campus of Virginia Tech. The offenses occurred from the afternoon hours of January 30 to the early afternoon hours of February 8, 2025.
 
The Virginia Tech Police Department recommends students leave valuables at home or lock them in the lockers provided in the recreational facilities. Information on the use of lockers from Rec Sports can be found online at recsports.vt.edu/membership/services.
 
The Virginia Tech Police Department reminds everyone to report all crime and suspicious activity/person(s) anywhere on campus immediately to the Virginia Tech Police Department at 540-382-4343 or by dialing 911. Anonymous tips can be reported online at police.vt.edu/anonymous
