Program on reproduction, challenges, and options available to build a family
From: Hokie Wellness and Faculty Affairs
Hokie Wellness and Faculty Affairs are co-hosting a hybrid program, Reproduction: The Science, the Surprises, and the Next Steps on Building a Family, presented by Kim Skellington, a board-certified genetic counselor and the founder of Modern Reproduction. The program will be held Friday, March 28, 12:30 -1:45 p.m. Registration is required; registrants will be notified of the location prior to the program date.
The program explores the fundamentals of human reproduction, including conception, hormones, and reproductive systems. Common challenges that can arise will be discussed along with medical and genetic evaluations available, and how reproductive technologies like IVF, IUI, and donor options can help. Whether you are seeking answers for yourself or supporting others on this journey, this session will provide a clear roadmap for understanding reproductive health and the options available to build a family.
