Menopause education series returns

From: Hokie Wellness

Hokie Wellness will offer a virtual, three-session program about all aspects of menopause on Wednesdays beginning March 5 from 12:15 – 1:30 p.m.

The Menopause Series will be an open, frank, and educational discussion that will cover the experiences of perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause. A variety of topics will be covered including what to expect in each stage, symptoms, physical and mental health, and available treatments. This year’s education series will contain new and updated information.

The program is open to all employees. Come for yourself or to support others.

Each week will discuss a different topic. Registration is required for each week you wish to attend.

  • March 12: Menopause: Life during “the change”: Learn about symptoms and how to manage them, your physical and mental health, available treatments for symptoms, and how your loved ones, colleagues, and supervisors can support you. Register here.
