Saxophonist Joseph Murphy performs a concert as a part of the Concert Artist Series.

Murphy was the saxophone professor at Mansfield University, Pennsylvania, from 1987-2022. He was also director of bands, department chair, and taught many courses. He received a BME degree from Bowling Green State University and master's and doctorate degrees from Northwestern University.
