Introducing the new ‘Safe Online at VT’ website

This October marks the 21st annual Cybersecurity Awareness Month, spearheaded by the United States Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) to help everyone build the basic skills to stay safe online.

To celebrate, the Virginia Tech Division of IT has launched a new “one-stop shop” website for cybersecurity basics.

The site, Safe Online at Virginia Tech, is designed to help the Virginia Tech community to learn the essentials of cybersecurity and personal online safety. From basic tips for staying secure online to information on 2-factor authentication and advice for making strong passwords, this website offers valuable resources for Virginia Tech students and staff.
