Giles County residents able to get transportation to and from work

From: Early Childhood Education Initiatives

Attention Giles County residents! Virginia Tech’s Early Childhood Education Initiatives team is supporting a benefit offered by Giles Health and Family Center.

This benefit is for parents who have a child or children under 18 who live in the home or are in foster care. This benefit provides transportation to and from work to promote regular attendance. This also includes dropping children off to child care in route to work.

Current Virginia Tech employees who are having work transportation issues that may affect their job security and potential new employees to the university are eligible, if they are also residents of Giles County.

Please contact Andy Wilburn of Giles Health and Family Center at ghfctransportation@outlook.com for additional information and to confirm eligibility.
