Activate your Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Mastercard

A Flexible Spending Account (FSA) allows employees to set aside part of their income on a pre-tax basis for eligible health or dependent care expenses. Plans begin July 1 and end June 30.

When activating the FSA Mastercard, the Inspira activation line asks for the last four digits of the employee’s ID number.  Employees should use the last four digits of their Cardinal ID# without the trailing two zeros. For example, if the Cardinal ID is 00123456700, enter 4567 to activate the new FSA Mastercard.

Employees can locate their Cardinal ID numbers by visiting HokieSpa, selecting the Hokie Team Tab, and then selecting Employment information. The Cardinal ID number and Virginia Tech ID number will be listed.
