Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets outdoor workout facility construction to begin

Beginning Monday, June 24, construction of an outdoor workout facility for the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets will begin at the green space to the east of the Corps Leadership and Military Science Building (Turner Street side). 

During its development, the university community may experience elevated levels of noise emanating from the immediate area. Construction fencing and increased contractor presence will also occur.

Intermittent impacts to the sidewalks in the immediate area may occur. 

Construction is expected to last through approximately Thursday, Aug. 15.
