Participants needed for 'Barbie' and feminism survey

From: School of Communication

We are researching the effect of the 2023 film "Barbie," directed by Greta Gerwig, on the general public’s perception of feminism and its relation to the Barbie doll. This survey includes six general demographic questions, three general questions about "Barbie," eight scaled questions about "Barbie" and feminism, and three free-response questions on various topics. It should take 15-20 minutes to complete depending on your depth of response to certain questions. People of all backgrounds are encouraged to take this survey to understand a broader perspective. If "Barbie" struck you in any way, this survey is a great way to reflect on those feelings.

There are no known risks to you for participating in this study. Your input will help us understand what people think about "Barbie." Participating in this study may help you better understand your attitudes toward "Barbie." You may also benefit by helping scholars understand how the public feels about "Barbie" and how media can change perceptions. Participation is voluntary and without compensation. You must be 18 years or older to complete the survey.

For more information and to take the survey, please visit this link: https://virginiatech.questionpro.com/t/AajWmZ2Fzc and read detailed instructions, explanations, and informed consent.
