Arbor Day celebration to take place April 24

Join the Division of Campus Planning, Infrastructure, and Facilities; Students for Sustainable Practices; and Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture in an Arbor Day 2024 celebration on Wednesday, April 24, at 1:30 p.m. at Sterrett Center.
Participants will have an opportunity to celebrate Virginia Tech's urban forest by helping to plant 14 new trees in the nearby area and engage with University Arborist Jamie King.
Participants are asked to convene outside of Sterrett Center, across from the Sterrett Center sign (by the corner of Fleet Services and the Housekeeping and Heavy Equipment trailer). Closed-toed shoes are required. Gloves will be provided.
