Spring forward into better health with TimelyCare

When the weather is cold, rainy, and gloomy, many people report feeling sad or down. As warmer weather approaches, so does a sense of renewal and rejuvenation. Take a moment to sign up for TimelyCare and save it for a future rainy day.
Through TimelyCare, you can schedule an unlimited number of guided sessions with a health coach to focus on a range of wellness topics. These health coaching sessions may include topics such as sleep habits, interpersonal conflict, time management, exercise, and nutrition.
Each individual with a TimelyCare account can access up to 12 free counseling sessions per academic year with a licensed mental health provider. Appointments are available during daytime, evenings, and weekends to accommodate employee work schedules. The TalkNow feature is also available 24/7 for unlimited, on-demand mental health support for more urgent or time-sensitive issues.
By being familiar with the TimelyCare platform, you can encourage others to sign up for virtual health services. The registration process only takes a few minutes and provides users with instant access.
To access these resources, sign in with your @vt.edu email address on the TimelyCare app or website, then navigate to the Provider Care tab to fill out your health profile. Once that is completed, you will be able to either speak to a professional right away using the TalkNow feature or schedule a session with a counselor and/or health coach.
About TimelyCare
TimelyCare is a virtual health service available to full-time faculty and staff and non-student wage employees.* Employees may access TimelyCare services regardless of their location in the United States. Employees can connect to TimelyCare by computer, tablet, or smartphone using their Virginia Tech email address. Both phone and video sessions are available.
