A new interface for accessing some information in Hokie TEAM goes live Dec. 5

Effective Dec. 5, a change will be made in the Hokie Spa information system for students, faculty, and staff. The change will appear on the Hokie TEAM menu, which provides employees with access to personal information, job history, and payroll information.

In the Hokie TEAM menu, “Banner 9” will appear in parentheses beside “Year End Tax Statements” and “Current and Prior Jobs” (formerly “Current and Past Jobs”). The W2 form, corrected W2 (W2C) forms, and applicable 1042S forms will be listed under the new “Year End Tax Statements” link. The “Year End Tax Statements” link will be subcategorized into W2 forms and 1042S forms. Forms to update Federal and Virginia withholding (W4 and VA4) will still be accessed under the original “Tax Forms” link.

When employees select either of these links, they will see a new landing page called Employee Dashboard and will have the option to view their year-end tax statements and their current and prior jobs. Additionally, employees will be able to access a new page called My Profile, where they can view and edit some of their personal information.

These changes are the first that employees will see as the university prepares to upgrade to Banner 9 over the coming months. More information will be shared soon on changes that will occur in late March 2024.
