Pep rally at the Quillen Spirit Plaza on Friday, Sept. 29

Celebrate Fall Family Weekend with a pep rally at the Quillen Spirit Plaza. We’ll be giving away free Hokie fanny packs, fun swag, HokieTracks ice cream, and popcorn. The HokieBird and Spirit Squad will bring the fun.

We’ll have a short presentation to honor the Quillen Family and their generous support of Student Affairs through the years and generations.

"It is so exciting to see the Quillen Spirit Plaza come to life," said Hunter Q. Gresham, a member of the Quillen family and former longtime professional staff member of Student Affairs, "not just the physical structure, but moreso the energy of students, families, and Hokie fans!

"Virginia Tech is a very special place — to us, and to so many others — so to celebrate the plaza on Fall Family Weekend with a dedication amongst our families and friends, as well as the larger Hokie family, makes it extra special for my brothers and me. We hope generations of Hokies enjoy the space far into the future."
