A study from AARP shows that 77 percent of adults 50 and older want to remain in their homes for the long term — a number that has been consistent for more than a decade.

Hokie Wellness is offering an in-person workshop on March 2 from 2-5 p.m. that will encourage participants to reflect on five key topics to consider when it comes to aging in place: housing, health and wellness, transportation, personal finance, and social connection and growth.

The interactive workshop is open to both individuals planning for themselves, as well as those planning for aging parents or loved ones. The workshop will be held at the North End Center, room 2420. Registration is required.

If you are an individual with a disability, and/or desire an accommodation, please contact Hokie Wellness by e-mail at hokiewellness@vt.edu at least 5 days prior to this meeting.
