ADP is new partner for distributing 2021 W-2s

New for 2022, Virginia Tech is partnering with ADP to deliver W-2s to all eligible current and former employees. The change to ADP allows the university to more efficiently process W-2s as we continue to grow the number of employees working in other states.

W-2s are expected to be ready by Jan. 31. Once they are available, a link to the ADP website will be posted in Hokie Spa. Your previous delivery method to receive your W-2 – online or by U.S. mail – has been transferred to ADP. If you would like to change your delivery method, you will be able to do that once the ADP site is live. ADP will also offer the ability to download employee tax information directly into tax preparation software such as Turbo Tax, H&R Block, etc.

Detailed instructions on how to access W-2s through ADP will be communicated soon. Watch for additional information. All tax documents distributed by Virginia Tech/ADP are IRS acceptable. When the 2021 W-2 is available online in January 2022 you will receive an email and a campus notice will be posted in the VT Daily News. Please note, previous year’s W-2s will continue to be accessed through Hokie Spa.
