Former Congressman Rick Boucher gives his large collection of papers to University Libraries at Virginia Tech , articleBoucher was a member of the Virginia Senate for seven years before being elected to Virginia’s 9th Congressional District in 1982, a position he held until 2011. He is the longest-serving representative in the history of the 9th District. He gifted his collection of state and congressional papers to make it available to all who wish to learn from it.
