Hundreds of students, faculty, staff, and other key stakeholders attended the Creative Innovation District's grand opening event in October to celebrate the completion of the living-learning program facility.
Natalie E. Cook, assistant professor of public health in the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine, is the new faculty principal for the Honors Residential Commons. “My vision is to inspire HRC students to consider new perspectives, to expand their thinking ... I want them to make meaning of and feel empowered in their learning,” she said.
