The Regimental Band
The Highty-Tighties, the Corps of Cadets' regimental band, are Virginia Tech's longest-serving musical organization and the oldest collegiate band in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- We own an unparalleled string of victories, including 129 first-place trophies in 130 competitive parades.
- We’ve marched in 11 Presidential Inaugural Parades.
- We continue to evolve because you deserve a Corps of Cadets experience that truly prepares you to succeed.
Today, the Highty-Tighties perform at all home football games, the Pep Band attends home women’s basketball games, and the band frequently is invited to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, the Cherry Blossom Festival, Savannah’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade, and Mardi Gras. We also have a concert component, and a fun jazz ensemble known as the Southern Colonels.
We are Virginia Tech's regimental band and so much more!
