    Marcia Feuerstein honored with emerita status , article

    Feuerstein arrived in Blacksburg in 1996 and since 2004, taught at the Washington-Alexandria Architecture Center in Alexandria. She has been an advocate for women in the profession of architecture, correcting the historical record and challenging historical and cultural biases through education and scholarship.

    WAAC uses technology to connect architecture students , video

    In Ryan Pieper's Design Build course, based out of the Washington Alexandria Architecture Center, students are able to work with hands-on building projects while their classmates assist them remotely. Some remote students are hundreds of miles away but join their team through applications like Zoom and FaceTime.
