In memoriam: Joseph E. Marcy, professor and former department head, Department of Food Science and Technology , articleMarcy, esteemed researcher, professor, mentor to many, and former department head, died on Aug. 26 at the age of 72. A celebration of life will be held Sept. 28 at Blacksburg United Methodist Church at 2:30 p.m.
