Veatch, a member of the advisory council of Virginia Tech's Marion duPont Scott Equine Medical Center (EMC) in Leesburg, Virginia, brought the mare to EMC for specialized foaling care. The renovation of the former open-air barn into a comprehensive, state-of-the-art sports medicine facility was made possible by a generous gift from Suzanne and Glenn Youngkin of Great Falls, Virginia.
