Afghan student Ayda Haydarpour finds a sense of purpose at Virginia Tech , articleHaydarpour, part of the all-girls robotics team Afghan Dreamers, has always dreamed big. Her road to Virginia Tech to study computer science did not always seem possible. She hopes to return to her country and open a STEM-based school where she will teach and mentor students.
