Haydarpour, part of the all-girls robotics team Afghan Dreamers, has always dreamed big. Her road to Virginia Tech to study computer science did not always seem possible. She hopes to return to her country and open a STEM-based school where she will teach and mentor students.
Virginia Tech Engineering students had the opportunity to attend a three-day career fair where they got the chance to talk face-to-face with companies like Deloitte, GE, Boeing, Rolls Royce, and many more.
The Student Engineers’ Council at Virginia Tech hosted its 39th annual Engineering Exposition, one of the largest student-run engineering career fairs in the nation, drawing more than 300 companies and more than 6,000 students.
