WVTF Public Radio / RADIO IQ claims three 2011 Edward R. Murrow regional awards
WVTF Public Radio / RADIO IQ claimed three first place awards from the Radio Television Digital News Association's 2011 Regional Edward R. Murrow Awards program.
The winning entries and categories are
- Audio Feature Reporting, "Happy, Healthy Cooks";
- Use of Sound, "Busking"; and
- Writing, "Meet Menhaden."
The regional awards program covers media outlets in Virginia, Maryland, the District of Columbia, and Delaware. Regional winners automatically become eligible for the national awards competition.
