National Academy of Sciences to honor Robert J. Bodnar, Shuhai Xiao
The two geosciences professors will be honored as newly elected members of the National Academy of Sciences on Friday night in Washington, D.C., where they will sign the academy’s prestigious Registry of Membership. Membership into the National Academy is a widely accepted mark of excellence in science and is considered one of the highest honors that a scientist can receive. Members are elected in recognition of their distinguished and continuing achievements in original research.
