Cadre Week kicks off as selected upperclass cadets return to Blacksburg to sharpen their instructional techniques, align on operational standards, and refine their command skills. Before first-year cadets arrive, these cadet leaders undergo intensive, hands-on training to ensure they are fully prepared to mentor, instruct, and lead the university’s newest Hokies through their initial transition to the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets.
