Homecoming set for Oct. 12-17

Virginia Tech will celebrate Homecoming Oct. 12-17 with activities for alumni, students, community members, and friends, leading up to Saturday’s football game against Georgia Tech.
Homecoming festivities will start Monday with activities for students. The Student Alumni Associates will partner with organizations across campus to carry initiatives including Homecoming Kickoff, Film on the Field, the annual Dr. Zenobia L. Hikes Homecoming Yard Show, and the Homecoming Court.
On Friday night, the Homecoming Parade will march through the streets of downtown Blacksburg. On Saturday, an alumni tailgate will be held with campus groups, food, entertainment, family-friendly activities, and more. The tailgate will begin four hours prior to kickoff.
