Virginia Tech Board of Visitors to meet Nov. 17-18 in Alexandria
The Virginia Tech Board of Visitors will hold its quarterly board meeting at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, in Northern Virginia in Room 2110, Academic Building One, 3625 Potomac Ave., Alexandria.
On Monday, Nov. 17, committee meetings will be held in Room 2110. Note: Times are approximate; meetings will begin when the prior meeting ends.
- Academic, Research, and Student Affairs Committee: 12:45 p.m. (closed, then open session)
- Buildings and Grounds Committee: 9 a.m. (open session) and 5:30 p.m. (tour of Academic Building One)
- Compliance, Audit, and Risk Committee: 10 a.m. (open, then closed session)
- Executive Committee: 11:45 a.m. (closed session)
- Finance and Resource Management Committee: 3:30 p.m. (closed, then open session)
- Finance and Resource Management and Buildings and Grounds joint meeting: 2:45 p.m. (open, then closed session)
- Governance and Administration Committee: 8 a.m. (open session)
On Tuesday, committee chairs will meet with administrators at 8 a.m. in the Terrace Room at the Residence Inn Arlington Capital View, 2850 Potomac Ave., Arlington.
Some board members will remain for the Innovation & Impact Summit co-sponsored by Times Higher Education and Virginia Tech at Academic Building One on Nov. 18-20. Visit the conference website for information or to register for the conference.
