Stephen J. Skripak Named Professor of Practice Emeritus of Management

The Department of Management at the Pamplin College of Business congratulates Stephen J. Skripak on his appointment as Professor of Practice Emeritus of Management at Virginia Tech.

Professor Skripak served the university for more than 15 years, teaching courses in business strategy and consulting and serving as associate dean for graduate programs. He was instrumental in advancing dual-degree programs that combined business education with fields such as engineering, construction, and healthcare.

He led multiple study abroad programs, helped strengthen international partnerships, and co-authored an open-source textbook that has been downloaded nearly 3 million times. His professional and academic contributions extended to community and global service, including support for educational initiatives abroad.
