Reed B. Kennedy named associate professor of practice emeritus of Management

The Department of Management at the Pamplin College of Business congratulates Reed B. Kennedy on his appointment as Associate Professor of Practice Emeritus of Management at Virginia Tech.

Over more than a decade of service, Professor Kennedy made significant contributions to teaching and global education initiatives. He coordinated one of the department’s largest capstone courses and led the development and implementation of more than 18 study abroad programs across Latin America, Europe, and Asia.

He co-authored an open-source strategic management textbook that has been downloaded over 500,000 times, expanding access to course materials for students worldwide. His work included experiential consulting, international entrepreneurship, and advising multiple student organizations.
