Spring Break starts this Saturday. Whether you're traveling home or taking a trip with friends, here are some things to know and resources to use to make your time off safe and enjoyable.

If you live on the Blacksburg campus, here are some things to keep in mind for the week of March 8-16.

  • The residence halls are in a Low-Occupancy Period.
  • Students who plan to stay in the residence halls during spring break must register using the StarRez Portal (under Online Forms > Break Housing Registration). 
  • Halls close at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 8, and reopen at 8 a.m. Sunday, March 16.
  • Students noted in residence without an active break registration may face financial and student conduct penalties. After March 7, dining operations will be open, but limited. Access to fitness facilities will likewise be reduced.
