Myers is a professor and graduate director in the School of Communication. His work focuses on media history, political communication, and laws that affect public relations practice.

  • The rise of artificial intelligence has many similarities with other historical technological advances that have caused disruptive workforce changes. The types of jobs it is impacting, however, makes it different. 

  • Myers believes the use of generative artificial intelligence will be normalized in many professions within the next year or two.
