U.S. Army 1st Lt. Christopher Stock, a 2020 Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets alumnus who earned a degree in business information technology from the Pamplin College of Business, was selected as the Hokie Hero for Saturday’s football game against Duke.

The Hokie Hero program honors corps alumni who are deployed. Recipients are highlighted by Bill Roth and Mike Burnop during their radio broadcast of Hokie football games, on the Corps of Cadets website, and in the Corps Review alumni magazine.

Stock is currently deployed to the Middle East with Central Command, where he serves as a postal officer for the 36th Sustainment Brigade in support of Operation Inherent Resolve.

A native of Allendale, New Jersey, Stock was a member of Charlie Company during his time in the Corps of Cadets.
