Editor's note: The following was provided by the family of Amber Rainsberger.

Amber Sabrina Rainsberger, 18, of Parker, Colorado, tragically passed away from injuries sustained in a car accident on Sunday, March 27, 2022. Amber was born Sept. 30, 2003.

Amber is the treasured daughter of Vivian Wu and Mike Rainsberger and big sister of Jacob Rainsberger, her eternal bestie. Amber attended high school at Regis Jesuit High School and was attending Virginia Tech's College of Engineering when the tragic accident occurred.

Amber gave us 18 years of joy, smiles, laughs, encouragement, friendship, her heart, and her love. Amber loved her family, cherished her friends, and opened her heart to us all while opening the hearts of others. Amber had two great passions in her life, singing and playing lacrosse at Regis Jesuit High School.

The loss felt by family and friends is immeasurable. However, for those who knew Amber, know she would want us to celebrate her life NOT mourn her loss!
