Burruss lighting celebrates community

To our community,

As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday and the end of our on-campus instruction, I want to express my sincere thanks to our students, faculty, staff, neighbors, friends, family, government and health care leaders, and front-line employees and responders for coming together to create an incredible community response to COVID-19.

Virginia Tech is fortunate beyond words to have such support, so we are lighting Burruss Hall in Hokie Orange and Maroon as a visual expression of our gratitude to all.

I look forward to the time when we can show our appreciation in person, and that time will come, thanks to you.
