Veterinary service fraternity to host Easter egg hunt on March 30
Families with young children will have a chance to celebrate the arrival of spring at the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine on Saturday, March 30.
Omega Tau Sigma, a veterinary service fraternity, will host an Easter egg hunt that day on the college’s Virginia Tech campus located on Duck Pond Drive. The event starts promptly at 10 a.m. and is free and open to the public. It will be held rain or shine.
The Easter Bunny will be on hand to greet visitors. The event will include games, balloon animals, and a rabbit handling demonstration.
Participating children only need to bring a basket or other container to hold any eggs they may find. All other materials will be provided.
Omega Tau Sigma focuses on service, fundraising, and social activities at the veterinary college. From a Relay for Life team, to fall food and blood drives, to a veterinary medicine exhibit at a Blacksburg Children’s Museum event, students in the veterinary service fraternity organize a number of community programs.
