In a departure from last year's two-week closure, The Inn at Virginia Tech and Skelton Conference Center will remain open throughout December as well as the New Year's holidays.

"We thought we could best serve the university community and our outside clientele by remaining open for the entire holiday season," General Manager Tom Shaver said. "While the number of room bookings is traditionally lower in late December and early January, we will be offering a number of great holiday events throughout the season. Special room rates will also be available for visiting friends and family."

Here are upcoming holiday events. For reservations, call 540-231-0120.
