Crime Alert: Assault behind Dietrick Hall
At 4 p.m. today, the Virginia Tech Police Department received a report of an assault that occurred in the late night hours on August 22 behind Dietrick Dining Hall. The assault involved forcible fondling against the will of the victim.
At approximately 11:45 p.m., a female was waiting for a ride in the Dietrick parking lot when two unidentified males approached her from behind, touched her in a sexual manner, then fled the area on foot toward the Engle parking lot. The suspects are described as white males, unknown age, wearing dress khaki pants, and both wearing polo shirts (one orange, one green). One of the males was also wearing a dark colored baseball hat and had short dark brown hair. The other suspect had short, close cut, light brown hair.
