Blacksburg Police investigate April 5 robbery
On, April 5, 2010, at 9:30 pm, Blacksburg Police responded to the 700 block of Falcun Drive to investigate a robbery.
Investigation revealed that the victim, a 20-year-old Virginia Tech student, had been visiting a friend and when he went to his parked vehicle to leave; he was approached from behind by the suspect. The suspect placed an object at his back that the victim believed was a gun and told him not to turn around. The suspect then took the victim’s wallet and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect was described as male, 6’ 3”, 170-190 lbs., medium build, and was last seen wearing black pants, a black shirt, and a mask.
The victim was not injured in the incident.
