Virginia Tech Department of Music presents a Bach celebration on Friday, Jan. 30 at 8 p.m. in the Squires Recital Salon located in the Squires Student Center adjacent to downtown Blacksburg on College Avenue.

This year’s annual Bach concert will include an aria from the B Minor Mass for baritone with horn obbligato, flute, and harpsichord sonatas, and a selection of Preludes and Fugues from Book II of the Well-Tempered Clavier.

Performers will be Virginia Tech music faculty Theodore Sipes, baritone; Wallace Easter, horn; Tracy Cowden and James Bryant, harpsichord; Erica Sipes, piano; and David Jacobsen, flute.

Tickets are $5 for general admission and $3 for students and seniors and are available at the door one hour prior to performance time.
