VMRCVM professor presents lectures at the North American Veterinary Conference
Michael S. Leib, the C.R. Roberts Professor of Small Animal Medicine, and professor, Department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences in the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech, recently presented several lectures at the North American Veterinary Conference in Orlando.
Leib's presentations included: "Endoscopic examination of the small and large intestines," "Therapeutic endoscopy: Foreign body removal and PEG tubes," "Challenging vomiting cases: The next level," "Helicobacter gastritis: Does it cause vomiting," "Drug therapy of upper GI diseases," "Common errors in the diagnosis and management of GI diseases," "Rectal cytology," "Doxycycline esophagitis / strictures," and "Upper GI endoscopy laboratories."
Leib is a Diplomate in the American College of Veterinary Medicine (ACVIM), a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Association of Veterinary Clinicians, the Comparative Gastroenterological Society, and the American Animal Hospital Association.
